(More customer reviews)I am going to buy a gallon of this stuff.I was at a pet retail store and bought a small bottle of the Tropiclean neem shampoo that cost me $11 for an 8 oz bottle.Neem oil pet shampoo is hard to find in my area, but a groomer advised I try it because my peek a poo has allergies to foods, fleas, you name it.His skin was almost blood red from the itching and he was miserable.Well, I bathed him last night and today his skin is no longer red, and he is not itching.His coat is also nice and shiny.

I have an Aussie mix who suffers with allergies, as well as seems prone to attracting fleas.I have used many products over the years,but this shampoo tops them all. I have a "kiddie" pool that I use for a bathtub for him. While filling it, I squirt about 2 ounces in the water. I can also put it directly on him, but I find the other way works better for him. The neem in this product kills bugs just about on contact.It has a pleasant fragrance and calms his irritated skin. I recommend this product highly, particularly if you have a dog with sensitivities.

"If ingested, the peppermint plant and its oil could indeed potentially cause harm to your cat. Cats are especially sensitive to peppermint oil, and effects such as gastrointestinal upset, central nervous system depression and even liver damage could occur if ingested in significant quantities. Some peppermint oil formulations also contain aspirin derivatives, which could result in additional toxicity. Furthermore, if inhalation of the volatile oil were to occur, aspiration pneumonia may be possible. Based on this, we would not recommend using peppermint leaves or oil in areas where your cat is allowed access."

My guess is you put this junk on your cat and now it's freaking out and you're wondering anyone else has had the same experience.Yes, this product is AWFUL.DO NOT USE IT.

No, I am not some hyper-sensitive pet owner.Yes, I do realize that anything you use to kill fleas probably has some potential for side effects.I am not talking some minor irritation.I am simply floored that the manufacturer could be this stupid to put something like this on the market.

(More customer reviews)I used this product on my dog after searching for a stronger flea shampoo (i was looking for flea dip), because my dog gets very stressed out during baths, so I wanted something that would be really effective.This was killing the fleas as I was working up the lather, so they weren't just able to jump off before it took effect.I would highly recommend this product.I have used less expensive shampoos, ultimately just wasting my money, since they didn't work.What is also great about this product is that if you are brave enough to bathe your cats, it can be used on them also, so there is no need to buy a separate product.
