Sentry Natural Defense Flea & Tick Squeeze-On for Cats & Kittens (2.3 mL applicators - 6 month dose) Review

That I decided to try this instead of just going and getting the frontline plus. Hmmm lets see how many bad things I can say about it. The smell is strong and will take your breath away. The ingredients in it are toxic to cats which I found out after I put it on and decided to read up on it. (I am an idiot) The cats went absolutely nuts once it was put on. It spread all down there sides and there hair was oily. I had to give the cats a bath which is what I was trying to avoid by buying the spot on to begin with. If I could give this product a negative number I would.

The Scotts Co. 0195410 Home Defense Max Review

The Scotts Co. 0195410 Home Defense Max

We live in a very woodsy area and have a problem with scorpions during the summer months. Some of our neighbors who have a similar problem advised us to just hire an exterminator, but we decided to give this a try first, since it is cheaper. It works very well.My husband sprays down the outside of the house with it every 2 months during the warm weather, and during that time, we see NO scorpions. If we go three months without spraying it we do start to see the scorpions again, but as long as we keep it up every few months we don't have a problem.

My dog recently brought fleas into our house, and after trying bug bombs to no avail, we thought we'd try spraying this inside the house to see if it would help since it does so well against other bugs.We still have fleas, unfortunately, but I can see that their numbers have drastically decreased since we sprayed. And this stuff does not have a horrible, lingering odor like the bug bombs do.We have decided to spray it again in a week or two, and after that as long as the flea problem hasn't worsened, we may be rid of them.

I would advise trying this stuff before you hire an exterminator. It will likely save you a lot of money!

Sergeant's Gold Flea and Tick Squeeze-On Dog Review

This product should be taken off the market. We have used Advantaage in the past and never had a problem. However with money being tight in our family these days I opted to try Seargent's Gold because it is considerably less expensive.I implore you to learn from my mistake.I did read the package and gave less than the reccomended dose to my 70 pound mutt.Within 2 hours she began pacing the house, totally restless.By the next morning she was so lethargic. This ended up being no bargain at all as I poisoned my dog and ended up with an expensive vet bill, and worst off, my prescious dog's life in Jeopardy. Please learn from my mistake.

SentryPRO XFC Flea and Tick Squeeze-On for Dogs Review

If I could rate this with no stars, I would. Actually a skull and crossbones would be more appropriate.

It was time for flea treatment but the vet's office was closed so I couldn't purchase our usual Frontline spot on treatment. I purchased this one instead and applied to my perfectly healthy Wheaten Terrier exactly as directed. Even though I didn't see any info about preventing other animals from licking the product off his back, I did put a tank top on him to keep him from scratching the area and possibly getting the product on his paws where he could lick them.

Within about 20 minutes I noticed he was coughing as if he was choking a little on something. Then he started pacing up and down the hallway. He would sit down but jump up within seconds as if something was poking or biting him. I thought maybe the fleas were just scrambling for their last supper or something so still was not overly alarmed at this point. However, then I noticed when he tried to sit down, his body was spasming. His legs were all jerky and he kept jerking his head back over his shoulder. Very odd behavior, definitely not normal. He was breathing very heavily and seemed distressed. Then I noticed as he was pacing that it was like he was hallucinating. He appeared to see or hear things and jerk around but nothing was there. It was like he was tripping on LSD.

I gave him some Benadryl and then held him while his body jerked. At this point I realized he was experiencing mild seizures and that was the reason for the jerky and fidgety behavior. He was so confused about what was going on and wanted to be held constantly. While I was holding my 45 pound baby in my lap, I started researching online and found that if you type "sergeant's sentry xfc" in the search field, the first site that comes up is a blog of other pet owners who have experienced exactly what we were going through. [...]

Since this site came up first, it was obvious that it has had more hits than Sergeant's own website, if that tells you anything. Many pets have experienced severe reactions to their products and some have died. Sergeants will not pull the product stating that the problem is minor and only affects a very small percentage of animals. I really don't believe this based on the reports where pet owners have given the correct dosage to multiple pets and all of them have had reactions. One person at a shelter gave it to 17 dogs and 16 of them had serious reactions. This is much higher than the 1% claim of problems that Sargeant's claims.

When people have attempted to leave reviews with PetSmart and Petco on their sites, they have removed the negative reports only leaving positive information which is very misleading to customers. This is one of the things I really respect about Amazon is that they will report the good, bad and ugly reviews. For this, we thank you.

After 2 1/2 days and 2 sleepless nights while my baby continued to experience mild seizures, he is finally getting back to normal. And our experience wasn't as severe as many others. Please do not use this product on your pet. I never have had problems with the other spot on treatment but I plan to find a natural alternative for the flea problems. Every one of the people who purchased this product did it out of love and caring for their pets and each one of us feels guilty for being the one who applied this to our babies.

Hartz UltraGuard Rid Flea & Tick Shampoo for Dogs 18oz (Citrus) Review

Hartz UltraGuard Rid Flea & Tick Shampoo for Dogs 18oz

This flea shampoo works pretty well in my opinion. It kills the fleas right away and it smells good. It may take a couple baths to kill every single flea because they often hide when you start bathing your dog. I would suggest washing around your dogs ears first because they like to hide there.
