If we had read the website before we used Hartz Flea Control perhaps our beloved Bassett Hound would still be alive.

If this company Hartz truly cared about our pets they would have recalled their flea control products.

Our Bassett Hound died a few days after using the Hartz Flea Control product.Hartz claimed that their product did not kill our dog.They have a Vet who works for Hartz that took our call, they wanted to test our dog but the dog was already buried by then. Your cannot imagine the grief and guilt and we felt...then we found the website www.hartzvictims.org.

(More customer reviews)This product should be taken off the market.We have used Advantaage in the past and never had a problem.However with money being tight in our family these days I opted to try Seargent's Gold because it is considerably less expensive.I implore you to learn from my mistake.I did read the package and gave less than the reccomended dose to my 70 pound mutt.Within 2 hours she began pacing the house, totally restless.By the next morning she was so lethargic.This ended up being no bargain at all as I poisoned my dog and ended up with an expensive vet bill, and worst off, my prescious dog's life in Jeopardy.Please learn from my mistake.

(More customer reviews)This flea shampoo works pretty well in my opinion. It kills the fleas right away and it smells good. It may take a couple baths to kill every single flea because they often hide when you start bathing your dog. I would suggest washing around your dogs ears first because they like to hide there.
