(More customer reviews)We live on a farm and have 8 cats. I've used Hartz Ultra Guard Reflecting Flea & Tick Collars on our cats for many years. They work well for the heavily wooded area we live in and zero of my cats have ever had any kind of bad reaction to the collars. And they are reasonably priced and last 7 months through the whole flea and tick season.

(More customer reviews)I've tried other products which say they get rid of fleas and ticks, however, the only thing that they get rid of is the fleas.Preventic is the only product I've found that truly gets rid of ticks.You can also save the leftover pieces after sizing to your dog, to put up against walls behind furniture where ticks are laying their eggs.

The PREVENTIC Tick Collar by VIRBAC is the only tick collar that detaches and kills ticks effectively. Each collar is effective for 3 months and is a good complement to Advantage or PROGRAM flea control when tick protection is also required. Recommended for use on dogs/puppies 3 months and older. DIRECTIONS: Place the collar around the dog's neck, adjust for proper fit and buckle in place. Cut off and dispose of excess length.
