(More customer reviews)The collar does not have a bad odor nor did it cause any problems with any of my 5 cats wearing it. The ingredients (at their website) are less harmful than many other brands out there, hence why I purchased them. One of the cats is allergic to fleas (hair loss) and I noticed after about 2 months his allergy was flared, so I replaced it and all was well again. I rated it 3 stars since it did not last 6 months as advertised, but otherwise seemed to work well.

(More customer reviews)I've tried other products which say they get rid of fleas and ticks, however, the only thing that they get rid of is the fleas.Preventic is the only product I've found that truly gets rid of ticks.You can also save the leftover pieces after sizing to your dog, to put up against walls behind furniture where ticks are laying their eggs.
