Product Description:
Virbac Yard Spray is a concentrated spray that kills fleas and ticks outdoors including Deer Ticks and other species that carry and transmit Lyme Disease. It will not harm grass or foliage.This residual action concentrated formula comes with a hose-end sprayer for neat, even application. Kills fleas, ticks and fire ants on contact. Treats up to 6,000 square feet.

Directions:
Read all directions and cautions completely before use. To kill fleas and ticks harboring in lawns, back yards, dog kennels and runs, apply Yard Spray Concentrate through the hose end sprayer provided with the product. This will provide the correct dilution and will treat 6000 square feet. This product can also be applied by compressed air sprayer or watering can after diluting 2 ounces of concentrate with 1 gallon of water to cover a 1000 square foot area. Repeat treatments may be necessary at 7 to 14 day intervals.

(More customer reviews)We live in a very woodsy area and have a problem with scorpions during the summer months.Some of our neighbors who have a similar problem advised us to just hire an exterminator, but we decided to give this a try first, since it is cheaper.It works very well.My husband sprays down the outside of the house with it every 2 months during the warm weather, and during that time, we see NO scorpions.If we go three months without spraying it we do start to see the scorpions again, but as long as we keep it up every few months we don't have a problem.

My dog recently brought fleas into our house, and after trying bug bombs to no avail, we thought we'd try spraying this inside the house to see if it would help since it does so well against other bugs.We still have fleas, unfortunately, but I can see that their numbers have drastically decreased since we sprayed.And this stuff does not have a horrible, lingering odor like the bug bombs do.We have decided to spray it again in a week or two, and after that as long as the flea problem hasn't worsened, we may be rid of them.

I would advise trying this stuff before you hire an exterminator.It will likely save you a lot of money!

(More customer reviews)I have been using this Advamtixfor years with my Lhasa Apso.When I first bought it I ask my son-in-law (a biochemist) to check it out to see if it was safe to use.He called in a few days to say he wished he had found this because it is only effective on a flea.No danger to dog or people.If you read the warnings on most flea stuff you will see all the warnings.

Other thing I really like is it is easy to put on the dog.Just take top off and apply it between the shoulder blades.

It takes effort and patience, but it also clears worms and other parasites from dogs between 7 - 45 days. My one chi is over 45 days now, and I am not certain if it is over yet, but it seems to be. Not a chemical or pesticide, it is also for garden and humans, too. This is food grade, not pool grade. Pool grade will probably kill you; be sure to purchase food grade - it is harmless; follow directions.
Great price on Amazon - but the shipping $$$ is high, IMHO. Bottom line: good product, good price, no pesticides. My little chi gets seizures from chemicals, and my 55lb. dog is 15 years old, and I am happy not to give either of them chemicals or poisons, which ultimately effect us, too. READ DIRECTIONS, follow them and you will be pleased.

(More customer reviews)There was a time a few years ago when pyretherins, a botanical pesticide, including Deltametherin. killed bed bugs on contact and had a good residual effect. This is no longer the case. As any honest exterminator will tell you, bugs eventually become immune to longstanding pesticides. Two years ago, J. T. Eaton's Bed Bug Killer II worked great in my apartment building. Now, even if you spray it directly on the bed bug, the parasite will stagger away as if it visited the neighborhood tavern. Once a great product, the bed bug has become resistant to it. The best a do-it-yourselfer can hope for is to purchase one of the "Eco-friendly" sprays, usually Laurel Sulfate, which will kill the bed bug on contact, but has no residual effect. Unfortunately, an exterminator with a heavy hitter like Bayer's Drione, a professional strength pyretherin dust, needs to be on the scene and even that is iffy, because Drione is a pyretherin.
