(More customer reviews)I have been traveling much more frequently these days and with the recent epidemic of Bedbugs in Hotels (Fine ones included) and even some clothing stores, I believe this may be a good preventative measure.People we know recently had a bout with the little creatures back from a hotel stay and the process to eliminate them is not pleasant. Right now, every time I come back home from a hotel stay, I spray my luggage just in case....So far, so good!

(More customer reviews)Powder that kills dust mites dead.It dissolves in water so you can put it in a spray bottle and spray it around the house on about any surface.Left no residue when I used it and there is no lingering odor that I can sense and my sniffer picks up on things other people do not detect.

Seems to have worked so far, but I'm uncertain as the little woman is fastidious about running the vacuum due to my allergy issues. We also use it on the laundry once in a while as well.I don't know if this is truly effective, I don't examine my sheets and carpets with a microscope, I just know that mites die when you expose them to this stuff (surfactants - it's smothers the poor little allergy monsters).I used to work in a pet shop with reptiles and we had to use something like this to kill mites off every so often when a mite infested batch of critters came in.This is "old school" stuff but it's not an insecticide that the mites get immune to.Kind of like using alcohol on bacteria, it will always work.

(More customer reviews)We had a lot of cockroaches. A lot. It was disgusting. Apparently, they were in the walls, and other condos had problems with them as well. We started out only lightly dusting the Diatomaceous Earth through the kitchen, which is where the biggest problem was. A few weeks went by, and no doubt, some of them were dead. You can tell they were dehydrated. At one point, my boyfriend saw one of them stumbling as if it were drunk, covered in white powder. I knew it was working. We had to sweep them away constantly. But, did they all die? No. We started sprinkling more and more. At one point, the little kitchen was covered in white.

It's very eco-friendly, which is why I tried it. The dog and cat didn't go near it, but it didn't affect them. My boyfriend, who has severe allergies, wasn't affected by it as well. But, some of those suckers wouldn't die! Maybe the other reviewers didn't have as bad as a problem as we did. But, once we moved out (we didn't move out because of the cockroaches, but they did help) and we took away all of the food and moisture, they were pretty much gone.

So yes, it did work. I still have some. It lasts a long time. If I see some in our new place, I will no doubt use it again. Maybe our problem was just too big for this powder.
